My biggest artist hack is Home Depot 🔨 I personally choose to skip over the expensive acrylic paint from art stores and get my colors pre mixed at Home Depot. You can browse through color samples, get different sheens (I always go for the matte finish… which is how I achieve that smooth blend), and the cost of it is so much more afforable. House paint is actually an acrylic based paint and I can go into any Home Depot store in the country and get the exact same shade every time (which is how I get my signature pink shade). I know there is an art to mixing your own colors and some say a connection… but I just prefer to skip to the part I love.
