February 21, 2022, MEXICO: A 30-year-old woman died at the GYM Fitness Sport gym in Cuauhtémoc, when she broke during a squat with a fully loaded barbell weighing 180 kg. The iron irreversibly damaged her airways, and the rescuers called in only stated death. Ulises Carrasco, 35, who was a direct witness to the incident and in charge of the gym, was brought in for questioning.
